Luther comes to UIC after many years at Crowley Maritime, most recently as Manager of Operations Integrity combining a mix of 30 years of maritime experience included 11 years in the Oil Spill Prevention and Response industry. He most recently provided operational excellence managing the safe and reliable petroleum transportation in the marine trade for customers such as BP, Shell, Chevron, Phillips, and Tesoro. He has proven employee, customer, commercial experience, and expertise in navigating the ever challenging state and federal government regulatory policies. Above all, Luther puts safe operational integrity as a high priority for environmental and cultural stewardship. Luther has been a lifelong Alaskan living in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Valdez, and Iliamna. He is an avid college basketball fan and still volunteers his time refereeing YMCA youth basketball games. Giving back to the community has always been a priority for Luther.
Director of Operations
Billy has been with Bowhead since 1999 and came to us with an extensive background in Manufacturing Logistics, Operations and Inventory Management. His previous position with Bowhead Manufacturing, a sister company, was Purchasing and Logistics Manager and in that capacity handled logistics for multi-million dollar government contracts. He manages all aspects of traffic and logistics, from a single vehicle move to large government clean-up projects involving mobilization of equipment and shipment of debris and hazardous materials. He is the main point of contact with our customers and strives to maintain impeccable customer satisfaction. Billy is always willing to step in and assist with a flexible solution to the inevitable and unexpected customer crisis.
